Experienced Development Manager with client-side experience within the construction sector is required by a London based investor developer. It is expected that you will be commercially minded with a broad range of experience including that of a good understanding of planning matters as well as development and acquisitions. As Construction Development Manager you have a proven understanding of construction contracts and can demonstrate the ability to overcome and solve non-conventional construction problems, we would love to hear from you.
As a Construction Development Manager you will play a key role on construction projects across London. These projects typically range from £5 million to c£100 million and sit across the PRS/BtR, hospitality and PBSA space.
The remit for the Development Manager role will include:
- The preparing of development briefs and assisting with the cost plans and procurement strategies.
- Working closely with 3rd party's to identify savings in costs and optimise the construction programme.
- Identify risks within construction/development which might affect future values of the schemes.
Required experience for the Development Manager role:
- London real estate experience within a Development Manager, Senior Development Manager or perhaps Development Director role.
- Experience of delivering on projects across the asset classes that they are involved PRS/BtR, hospitality and PBSA space.
- Possess excellent negotiation skills.
- Possess a general understanding of current planning regulations.
- Educated to degree level within a relevant construction / property subject matter.
