An experienced ERP Programme Manager is required to play a key role in supporting the delivery of the global ERP Roadmap, defining strategies, infrastructure and governance, ensuring the successful implementation into the business enabling the benefits of a new ERP to be realised.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as an ERP Programme Manager?

• Planning, Execution & Delivery
  • Ensure Individual MD's/businesses go live to an agreed plan and schedule
  • Support the ERP Project Sponsors/Senior Team in all ERP advisory matters
  • Challenge and develop the 3-year ERP rollout plan and strategy
  • Help define the implementation approach with third party vendors
• Technical:
  • Validate and enhance tools and processes that will govern projects
  • Ensure compliance with ERP Technical Policy and guidance
• Contracts/Commercials:
  • Maintain contracts that govern the programme (de-risk T&M commercial terms)
  • Determine links to financial governance
  • Monitor progress against agreed milestones
• People:
  • Confirm with stakeholders the staff dedicated to an ERP project
  • Advise businesses on resourcing strategies
  • Start recruitment process for external hires
  • Maintain staff engagement throughout the project
  • Escalate resource plan issues to Programme Director and devise solutions with Project Sponsor/Manager

• Governance:
  • Ensure project organisation structures remain optimised
  • Update the ERP Transformation Portfolio review as required
  • Define and communicate ERP project and programme roles and responsibilities
  • Confirm meeting agendas and schedules
  • Ensure PIDs are created for all project and quality assure
  • Create approach for managing ERP competing initiatives
• Change Management:
  • Finalise and agree scope of change management engagement, direct and oversee change activities in conjunction with the Design Authority
  • Ensure business stakeholders are engaged in the change management process and that escalation paths are clear
  • Work with the Business Owners and Business Leads to ensure effective change management

What are we looking for in our next ERP Programme Manager?

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in ERP implementation
• Hold a professional project management qualification (APM/Prince2 Practitioner)
• Have previous delivery of IFS projects and programmes
• Have experience in delivery both waterfall and agile project methodologies
• Competent in managing the six aspects of a project, i.e. scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.
• Expertise in planning and estimating
• Highly organised and action-focused with ability to meet internal deadlines, works well under pressure
• Be willing to travel
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, in particular strong presentation and persuasive writing
• Experience of stakeholder identification and management
