Description
EQUANS are recruiting for a Facilities Manager to be based in Sussex for our prestigious client with limited travel to other sites. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
The role will manage and be accountable for the service delivery of EQUANS contract to meet the pre-set operational and financial criteria and the requirements of the contract scope and specification across the Southern Water sites direct and co-ordinate the activities of the onsite facilities team, including reception, admin, helpdesk, security and sub-contractors at Southern Water P1 sites
What will you deliver?
- Work with the Operations Manager and Helpdesk Team Leader to utilise the mobile FM Team, Mobile Engineers and subcontractor to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service including preventative maintenance (PPM) reactive calls, subcontractor management and small works
- Promote excellent working practices throughout the Facilities Teams and enhance the reputation of EQUANS by achieving Customer satisfaction.

- Ensure compliance with EQUANS SHEQ, Policies and Procedures
- Manage work and contractors in line with Customer QSHE Work Management Procedures.

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- Strong background of applied Health and Safety practices.
- Driven with a risk mitigation orientated mindset to manage risk associated with symptoms.
- Proven experience in the same or similar role in a professional Facilities Management environment - essential. Soft services including Help Desk / Reception / Security / Catering / Office environments / Post room
- A time served people manager with the ability to lead, direct, coach and support the team to meet objectives
- An able to confidently ' hit the ground running ' with stakeholder management & people Management
