Mechanical Engineer

What the role entails:
Provision of Engineering support throughout the CADMID cycle (including, but not limited to, requirements generation and capture, tender preparation and evaluation, engineering reviews, test and acceptance, Through-Life Management.
The resource will provide technical direction and guidance to the Project Team, in a fast-paced environment.
Experience to include:
- Knowledge of small arms design and maintenance,
- Military knowledge in the land domain, Engineering activities and review processes, MOD procurement process,
- Ability to produce Engineering Artefacts in order to support Business Case submissions and assurance reviews.
- Knowledge of Firearms Policy, MOD Equipment Support policy, and Class 1 Armourer (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
