Project Manager needed for an industry leading defence organisation based in the Aldershot vicinity of Hampshire. The Project Manager will predominantly be focused on all aspects of project management, with a hands-on approach, ensuring project members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements and have appropriate and achievable personal objectives.

The successful candidate would desirably have a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience particularly of working within Agile/Waterfall team environments. You will have a keen interest in making a difference and driving the business forward. If you have commercial experience in Project Management that would be a plus!

Some of the main duties of the Project Manager will include:

• Delivery of products, solutions, and IP projects using agile, water, and/or minimum viable product methodologies.
• Driving business change initiatives.
• Maintenance of forecasts for sales and delivery.
• Reporting progress on all accountabilities to programme / portfolio manager.
• Ensuring correct entry and maintenance of data onto all relevant business systems. Operating in a Safe & Secure manner.
• Application of governance requirements.

What experience you need to be the successful Project Manager:

• Hold a commercial background in Project Management
• Have worked within an Agile/Waterfall team environment
• Good understanding of various Project Management methodologies.
• Ability to identify problems within projects and highlight / implement effective solutions.
• Enjoys working within a team environment.
• Clear and confident communication and presentation skills.
