A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project SHE Manager to join a leading developer based on a major scheme in East London. The Project SHE Manager will join a highly regarded developer, a major housebuilder who are renowned for their quality developments.

The Project SHE Manager will be site based on a large residential project based in East London. They will be tasked with ensuring all SHE across the site is of the highest standards.

Duties

• Driving excellence and making recommendations to the overall company strategy.
• Implement and ensure the standards and guidelines that safety, health and environment are given primary importance throughout.
• Support the SHE team, management team and the supply chain in the development and implementation of appropriate strategies and processes.
• Review and analyse SHE performance and trends across the business and make strategy recommendations that drive continuous improvement and implement where appropriate
• Ensure senior management develop their understanding of potential risks and support them in delivering best practice.
• Review trend analysis to identify SHE training and development needs.
• Ensure the SHE team reviews and updates controls, risk assessments and Company procedures.
• Collect and collate the information required for the publication of relevant SHE communications.
• Ensure all investigations into accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences are carried by the SHE team.
• Manage all serious incidents where enforcement authorities are involved.
• Ensure all insurance claims are dealt with effectively by the SHE team.

Candidate

• Experienced and established Health & Safety Manager
• Exposure to large housing developments in London is essential
• Hold qualifications and memberships - NEBOSH, IEMA, CMIOSH
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player

On offer is a competitive salary of between £50-65,000 per annum plus an attractive benefits package that includes an annual car allowance, pension, healthcare, bonus, private medical and other great benefits.
