Quality Technician

Dagenham

47.5 hours (6-3:30 shifts)

Annual salary + nights uplifted + OT and weekend rates

As a Quality Technician you will receive full support and training from the Depot Manager to safely and effectively sample, test and report results of all sand, aggregate and bituminous products produced or consumed in the operating area in accordance with the relevant EN Specifications, Company Internal Management Systems, Environmental and Health & Safety Policies.

The right candidate will just need to have a desire to kickstart a career in the construction industry, be flexible to work days and nights, prepared for a physical role and hold full UK licence with access to own car.

The environment is a large production facility operating 24/7. It's dusty, noisy, quite physically demanding and requires some very early starts and late finishes but it's a fascinating and responsible job working with a friendly and dedicated team with opportunity to progress both horizontally and vertically across the business. Between our Dagenham and Ipswich depot we have a team of 4 Technicans and 1 Supervisor, in times of business need travel may be required to Ipswich (expensed).

Experience needed for the Quality Technician role:

Though no specific experience is needed for the Quality Technician and we welcome all applicants, some suited previous industry experience e.g warehouse, manufacturing, production plant, construction or labouring is advantageous.
