£40,000 to £50,000 + car & package
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a utilities framework in the West Midlands. The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a team of 5 surveyors at various stages of their careers and you'll be delivering a number of projects including storage tanks and treatment plants through to new tunnels and all the associated infrastructure (project values from £1m to £30m).
The Quantity Surveyors key duties will include:
- Pricing and administration of subcontract accounts
- Assist with the management of subcontract payment notices
- Assist with the preparation of cost value reconciliation reports
- Identify risks and opportunities in the administration of all commercial processes
- Issue contractual notices and quotations on the project
- Support with the procurement and tendering process
Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must have:
- A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
- Competent when using the NEC suite of contracts
- Good commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills
