An exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen with a leading main contractor on a large civil engineering project near to Weston-super-Mare. The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a busy site based team and play a crucial role in ensuring the sound commercial delivery of the £50m, 4 year project.

The successful Quantity Surveyor can expect a fantastic opportunity that includes exposure to a complex, high profile civil engineering project and the support of an approachable and experienced team. You'll have lots of opportunities to progress your career to Senior QS level and offered a competitive starting salary & package that includes:

• Starting salary of up to £52,000

As the Quantity Surveyor, some of your key duties & responsibilities will include:

• Managing the procurement of sub contractors and suppliers
• Sub contractor management
• Cost reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of CVR's
• Supporting the SQS with their role
• Offering advice and guidance to the projects Assistant Surveyors

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have:

• Previous experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Good NEC experience
• Excellent communication skills
• A solid track record of working in a permanent capacity
