A fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen with a leading main contractor on a large rail framework in London. Based at their shared offices in the capital, the Quantity Surveyor will be working as part of a busy, close knit team, delivering a number of earthworks packages across the clients network in the South East.

This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking for security of a long term, secured project, the backing of a cash rich and stable employer and a position that has scope to quickly progress your career to Senior, Managing and Lead QS roles. Some of the Quantity Surveyors duties will include:

• Change management
• Cost reporting
• Processing payment applications
• Assisting with CVR's
• Supporting junior surveyors

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have experience working for a main contractor with project exposure including either rail or large civil engineering projects. You'll also need to have strong NEC contract knowledge and ideally be familiar with the different GRIP stages. It's equally important that you have first class communication skills and a drive to continue learning and developing your career.
