Senior BI Analyst/ Developer that is passionate about delivering data for commercial improvement is needed for a leading organisation based in Sutton, Surrey, who are looking to employ an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer with an in-depth knowledge of MS SQL, Power BI, BI Tools with experience using visualization techniques for presenting data and analysis

Some of the main duties of the Senior BI Analyst / Developer will include:

* Develop strong understanding of business and the key performance indicators and metrics used to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities
* Mine and manipulate structured, semi-structured and unstructured data from predominately the enterprise data warehouse, along with other disparate sources, to provide data reporting for regular production and ad-hoc requests using a variety of analytical tools
* Gather business requirements to conceptualise, design and deliver ongoing production reports and visual dashboards that are representative of the client's campaign performance
* Work closely with internal teams to help translate raw enterprise data into meaningful analyses and insights for consultation
* Ensure that proper controls are in place so that reports are accurate and timely; resolve any issues/errors
* Estimate the business value of user requests in order to resolve conflicting priorities
* Collaborate with analysts and Technology team on developing a consistent approach to design, create and maintain BI reports/dashboards used throughout the company; provide suggestions to improve reporting best practices and work as part of team responsible for ongoing process improvement efforts
* Gather business requirements from product, commercial and operations teams and deliver to the Technology team to improve data analytics solutions via relevant data modelling techniques
* Support the ongoing development of the organisation's data warehouse through the identification of new data sources and continued validation of existing data sources

In order to be the successful Senior Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

* MS SQL
* Power BI is essential
* Experience of BI Tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Board)
* Experience using visualization techniques for presenting data and analysis
* Excellent commercial insight and ability to provide the insight in a meaningful way
* Detail oriented and committed to accuracy, data integrity and quality
* Strong analytical skills and ability to "think outside of the box"
* Good presentation skills
* High level of IT literacy
* Strong client focus
