Managing Quantity Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a reactive maintenance utilities framework in Oxfordshire. The role promises the security of a renewed, 5 year contract, exposure to a fast paced portfolio of projects and the support of an established, well regarded main contractor.
As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for leading a small team of surveyors managing a rapidly evolving portfolio of work. Some of your duties will include:
- Identifying commercial opportunities across the framework
- Managing subcontractors
- Resolving contractual issues with the client & other supply chain partners
- Identifying areas of risk & mitigation
- Cost value reconciliations & forecasts
- Contract negotiation
- Mentoring others
- Building a long lasting, trusting relationship with the client
