Operations Manager
Responsible for leading the reactive and planned maintenance services to ensure compliance across the Southern Water estate. With a hard services background and providing subject matter expertise for these services across the contract. Providing line management to the Regional Managers, working closely with the engineering team and Audit and Compliance Manager. Working with the Helpdesk Team Leader and Data Scientist to ensure an accurate CAFM system and detailed reporting. Supporting the Finance Business Partner to actively manage Work In Progress.
Responsibilities · TFM Service delivery across all sites and requirements of the contract · Management and Leadership of Regional Managers to ensure SHEQ compliance of Mobile Engineering Team and active management of AIMS system · Engagement with appropriate stakeholders within Southern Water · Delivery of all requirements of contract across P2-P4 sites · Manage all Hard Services FM delivery resources · Manage subcontractor delivery for all services and sites, escalating any issues to the Supply Chain Manager and/or Category Manager where required · Lead the Operational Development/ Interfaces Group, working with Southern Water's own operational engineering teams to create clarity and transparency of responsibilities and opportunities for shared responsibility and synergy benefits (such as completing agreed maintenance tasks rather than just logging for the other party to resolve). · Work with the P1 Facilities Manager and Helpdesk Team Leader to ensure effective WIP management · Ensure any PPM changes / variations are documented with the assistance of the PPM planner · Escalation point for customer queries · Inclusion in out of hours management escalation on call rota
