£35,000 - £65,000 depending on your experience level.

UK SC Clearance eligibility required.

We have a need for multiple Safety Engineers to join our clients busy and growing team.
These roles are now open to new applicants and needed due to exciting new project wins and to support continued growth within existing projects.

We are looking for talented Safety Engineers to join a team of Safety Engineers in supporting civil aerospace and defence related projects.

These roles are open to both permanent employees and contractors.

The main office for this client is in Bristol and part of the role could include occasional travel to clients' sites.
In this role you will be able to work from home for part of the week should you wish to.

SUMMARY:
As part of the Systems and Safety team, the Safety Engineers will be responsible for the delivery of systems safety support to the internal business and external clients which will include activities such as:

• Providing safety input to bid, internal/external design review and/or certification related activities
• Guiding the safety program requirements
• Collation of evidence and deliverables to support product safety argument generation
• Hazard identification & control
• Detailed analyses of complex systems using fault tree methodology
• Production of safety case reports
• System level analyses, integrating multiple sub-system inputs
• Platform loss modelling, integrating multiple system level analyses

BACKGROUND / SKILLS
Candidates will ideally be degree qualified, in a related discipline, They will have some experience in aerospace or defence related systems safety engineering principles, processes and standards.

• Surface ship/submarine systems safety
• Hazard Logs and analysis activities including: HAZID, HAZOP, FHA
• Analysis techniques such as: FTA, ETA, FMEA.
• ARP4754 or ARP4761
• Defence Standards 00-56, 00-55, 00-51 or 05-057
