Senior Quantity Surveyor

£60,000 to £70,000 + car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a framework of projects for a large government organisation near to Basingstoke. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be involved with projects spanning both new builds and refurbishments with values of between £10m and £30m. The work promises to be varied with projects to include offices, teaching facilities, warehouses and storage units, communal areas, car parks and more.
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the administration of contracts
- Support the project team with commercial and contractual issues
- Prepare all commercial and contractual correspondence
- Preparation of internal and external valuations and financial reports
- Negotiation of sub-contracts and payments to sub-contractors
- Identify and prepare any claims
- Agree final accounts
